Slow Food Auckland Snail of Approval Launch

Slow Food Auckland will organise a launch to celebrate the first 14 inaugural recipients of the Snail of Approval program. The event will be a celebration of good, clean fair and local food in the Auckland region. Inaugural recipients will be attending and the local Slow Food convivium has invited members and supporters.

Gareth Tricky the owner of Warrumbungle Wines will share the story of his vineyard and take us on a gilded tasting of Petite Verdot. By comparing vintages between 2004 and 2009 participants will be able to get an understanding of the effects of climate, weather, and seasonal changes on the taste of wine.
