Many things are said about champagne, such as it should be drunk at a certain temperature, that it was invented by the French, but were the English who liked it first. Also, for years out of France, anyone could call the sparkling wine Champagne, but since the certification of origin was enforced, it can no longer be called that if it is not produced in the Champagne region.
For two hours, Kate Khoury and Gaynor Sims (wine educators at Boston University, Sydney Campus, and former owners of a Shoalhaven Coast Vineyard and Winery) will take us on a journey through the world of bubbles and the sophistication of this great companion for celebrations.
Join us… cheers!
