Spudhunters royal showing – seeking volunteers
SLOW Food Melbourne convivium is at the Royal Melbourne Show 2009 delivering the children’s educational initiative called ‘Spudhunters’. The programme is the brainchild of Slow Food Central Victoria member and chef Gary Thomas. It encourages kids to dig for potatoes in a simulated garden and identify the variety of potato which they discover.
