SLOW Food develops national and international projects to extend its mission in diverse food communities throughout Australia and the world. The most ambitious of Australia’s projects is 23º Slow, designed to build a Slow Food confederation of all southern hemisphere national communities bisected by the Tropic of Capricorn – latitude 23º 26 south. Australia’s projects reflect and extend Slow Food’s international projects, such as Terra Madre, in our national community and across the Australian convivia network.
