The Slow Food Australia network starts with our 'Convivia' - regional groups of members that organise a variety of events and projects that promote good, clean and fair food locally and work towards our national goals and activities. Every Convivia is led by a volunteer Convivium Leader and a committee.
The Australian Slow Food network is governed by a small volunteer leadership group, which meets on a regular basis to discuss our national priorities and projects. They also prepare and monitor the Slow Food Australia budget and liaise with Slow Food International.
Globally, we are part of an international network of 100,000+ individuals that are passionate about where their food comes from, how our food choices affect the world around us, and work towards preservation of the richness and diversity of our food cultures and traditions.
