SLOW Food has launched a worldwide ‘Terra Madre Day’ to be held on 10 December 2009. Slow Food international councillors – 40 representatives of the association, from 20 countries around the world – met on 13 and 14 June in the Tuscan town of Alberese to discuss the key strategies for the future of Slow Food. The meeting’s particular focus was on the further development of the Terra Madre network and the increasingly important involvement and leadership from youth.
